The Counseling Department helps students to make decisions and accept responsibility for their decisions. Students meet with counselors in individual and group sessions, classroom visits, mediations and referrals to outside agencies, if needed. Students are encouraged to set up appointments during their off hour(s) to talk to their counselor.
The services of the Counseling Department are also available to parents. Parents are encouraged to contact their daughter’s counselor for any academic, personal or family question or concern. It is recommended to make an appointment if a parent wishes to speak to their daughter’s counselor in person.
Conversations between counselors and students are kept confidential.
